AeroMarine Products Urethane Casting Resins

AeroMarine Products provides the highest quality urethane casting resins for small-scale rapid prototyping and production by professionals, hobbyists, or individuals. Available in white or black, the casting resin is offered in sizes from 1 quart to 110 gallons. For other colors, we offer colorants in Black, Blue, Red, White, and Yellow. These can be combined to create additional hues. The colorants should be mixed with the “B” component (the catalyst side) of the casting resin. To brighten colors, you can add white colorant.

All casting resins, including urethane casting compounds and epoxy resins, come in sets that include a polymer and a catalyzing agent designed to harden quickly. This process is also known as curing, and occurs when products are mixed at 70 degrees Fahrenheit (21 degrees Celsius), although temperature changes don’t affect the quality of the casting resin. Make sure to mix only the amount of casting resin that you want to use immediately, as it hardens within about 3 minutes.

How can I use a urethane casting resin?

Common uses for our urethane casting compound are jewelry, figures, small decorative products, fishing lures or prototypes of industrial products.

You can use this casting resin kit in conjunction with the silicone mold-making materials we sell or any silicone mold to quickly create your products.

What is the bronze powder used for?

AeroMarine Products also offers a bronze powder that can be added to the urethane casting resin in 1 part bronze powder, 1 part casting resin, to create real bronze products. This is actual bronze that can be polished when finished.
