AeroMarine Products Silicone Thickener can be added to any AeroMarine Products 10:1 tin based (condensation cure) silicone rubber RTV to create a thixotropic, brushable material.
Do not use with simple 1:1 silicones.
This special additive must be added at the time of mix, to the white silicone base (Part A) prior to adding the catalyst.
This is the 1 gallon size, smaller sizes are available.

Features:

AeroMarine Products Silicone Thickener for use with AM128 Tin-Cure RTV Silicone.
Use this thixotropic agent to increase the thickness of your silicone to make it thicker, stickier, and easy to brush onto an object.
Only for use with AM128 tin cure silicone!
This silicone thickener will not work correctly with platinum cure silicone or other pre-mixed silicone.

HOW-TO:

Mixing:

Add about 1% Thickener to the part A (white silicone base), then add the catalyst. Use more or less to make the final product the desired viscosity.
Do not add more than 10%, as more than 10% will degrade the quality of the finished mold.
