For excellent flotation, use our 2# density polyurethane pour foam. It is lightweight and provides exceptional positive flotation. It fills voids and cavities easily and thoroughly.
Q. How much does one mixed quart of 2# pour foam fill?
It will fill about one cubic foot per quart at 72F, so a ½ gallon kit will fill about 2 cubic feet at 75F.
Q. What is the working time of the 2# foam?
One minute, so get everything ready before you open the foam containers.
Q. Will 2# density pour foam make my vessel more buoyant?
No! 2# pour foam will not increase buoyancy nor will it raise a boat out of the water.
