AeroMarine Products mold and cast kit includes one half gallon kit of silicone RTV mold making rubber and one half gallon kit of off-white polymer casting resin. Our kit gives you everything you need to make your own mold and cast an item! 

AM 128 silicone rubber makes molds for candles, soap, jewelry, and industrial parts. This silicone rubber is our most popular moldmaking product!  It is very soft and stretchy. It has a durometer of 28 Shore A and has excellent tear resistance. This silicone rubber does not require use of a vaccuum. You can use this silicone for making cast "block" or thinner "skin" molds. It flows very nicely and picks up incredible detail. The silicone resin is white/beige, and the catalyst is purple although it appears green in picture. Among the many things you can cast into molds made from this silicone rubber are:

We also carry a brushable, thixotropic version that can build a thickness of up to 1/2 inch on a vertical surface. It is actually the same silicone resin with a special catalyst.

AeroMarine Products polymer casting resin is ideal for making figurines, model railroad parts, toy soldiers and toys. You can also use it to make  prototype parts for automotive and industrial applications.  With its 7-10 minute demold time, our casting resin is great for making rapid prototype or production runs.  This casting resin is off-white and cures to a tough, hard, impact resistant plastic.  Our polymer casting resin is a fast setting, low odor, 1:1 mix, "water-thin" system.  It has nearly immeasurable shrinkage. You can purchase a colorant from us or paint the cured resin (Krylon Fusion paint is good).
